Manager, Talent Services (Remote)

Are you a passionate, strategic, and partnership-oriented talent professional with experience in the PreK-12 education space? Are you interested in learning more about talent acquisition, recruiting, and partnership management? If so, we’d love to talk to you! WorkMonger is looking for a Manager to join our fast-growing Talent Services team to support the execution of our portfolio of searches.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Sourcing, Matching and Screening (70%)

Sourcing & Cultivation

  • Using a variety of tools, including but not limited to Linkedin Recruiter, headhunt qualified candidates for a diverse portfolio of searches

Interviewing

  • Execute interview process activities for ongoing searches, including resume reviews, phone screens, and reference checks

Communications and Customer Engagement (20%)

  • Engage JobSeekers throughout the headhunting process to ensure JobSeeker retention while working towards an eventual hire
  • Manage tight communication deadlines to ensure JobSeekers receive timely outreach and follow up
  • Solicit feedback from JobSeekers and potential JobSeekers to ensure we are providing high-quality service
  • Support WorkMonger’s profile process to ensure it is streamlined

Data and Systems Management (10%)

  • Support a culture of productivity and accountability through tracking JobSeeker and Employer milestones
  • Build, adjust and maintain outreach communication system for headhunting and individual outreach
  • Work with team to evaluate JobSeeker and Employer data to improve the WorkMonger matching process and support the further development and refinement of the WorkMonger algorithm
  • Support on special projects on an as needed basis, including but not limited to the implementation of new systems

QUALIFICATIONS

Primary Qualifications:

  • Experience in the education sector required; instructional background preferred
  • Experience with talent acquisition required; experience designing and executing a wide variety of searches preferred
  • A deep understanding and commitment to racial justice, including but not limited to a willingness to engage in conversations around race, privilege and justice in the workplace
  • Strong written and oral communication skills required
  • Deep commitment to building close, professionally warm and transformational relationships with client partners

Additional Qualifications:

  • A high level of professionalism, customer service orientation and attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of Excel and GSuite, including but not limited to Google Drive, Docs and Sheets
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter and recruiting best practices
  • The ability to manage a diverse workload, competing priorities and deadline-sensitive projects successfully
  • Demonstrated experience in planning, organizing and prioritizing using measurable outcomes
  • Ability to contribute to the development and support of a positive team culture

KEY CONSIDERATIONS

  • Salary band: the band for this role begins at $50,000
  • Reports directly to the Director, Talent Services and joins a growing team of 4-5 individuals
  • This role is completely remote.
  • As a young, small organization, WorkMonger does not yet offer benefits, however we are likely to do so in the near future.
