WorkMonger is an online job matching service that aims to transform the way organizations and jobseekers find each other for non-teaching roles in the US education sector. Our goal is to provide a more personalized and expedited hiring process by using a combination of our advanced matching algorithm and personal expertise to quickly deliver a best-fit hire. WorkMonger supports the broader US education sector, including school districts, charter schools, education non-profits, education technology companies, education policy organizations, and more.
ABOUT YOU
WorkMonger is seeking an entrepreneurial, strategic, highly-organized, and collaborative individual to work with our CEO to cultivate our education sector employer services, with a focus on employer sales and stewardship. This is a full-time position, reporting to WorkMonger’s Founder & CEO.
QUALIFICATIONS
Primary Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Passion for, and experience with, relationship-building and working with external audiences
- Professional experience in the education sector

RESPONSIBILITIES
Employer Recruitment & Pipeline Development:
- Develop and execute on a recruitment strategy to bring a diverse group of US education employers into WorkMonger’s Employer database in collaboration with the WorkMonger team
- Identify and optimize new, innovative employer pipelines and partnerships
- Conduct sales meetings with potential WorkMonger Employers, primarily over the phone but occasionally in-person
- Work closely with those involved in JobSeeker recruitment and our matching process to ensure that the JobSeeker pipeline and Employer/Job pipeline are aligned (thereby maximizing the likelihood of a successful hire)
- Represent WorkMonger externally, including at conferences, recruiting events, networking opportunities, etc. in order to generate excitement among prospective Employers
- Focus recruitment efforts on strategies that will produce the greatest number of Employers for the fewest dollars spent
- Work with CEO to develop messaging that clearly and concisely explains WorkMonger to external employer audiences in a manner that resonates and drives brand loyalty
- Develop a strategy to grow an employer relationships team
Employer Stewardship:
- Engage Employers throughout the hiring process to ensure Employer retention while working towards an eventual hire
- Assist the talent matching team however possible to maximize the likelihood of a successful hire
- Develop and execute a strategy, system and schedule of touch points with past and current Employers, including mass emails, newsletters, online content, etc.
- Solicit feedback from Employers to ensure WorkMonger is providing the highest-quality service possible at each and every step of the process
- Strive to deepen the relationship with every WorkMonger Employer, with a goal of transitioning an initial Employer sign-up with one job into an ongoing relationship where all their jobs are submitted to WorkMonger
Data and Systems Management:
- Support a culture of productivity and accountability through the creation and tracking of employer recruitment milestones
- Work with colleagues to evaluate JobSeeker and Employer data to support the further development and refinement of the WorkMonger matching algorithm
Technology Platform:
- Support WorkMonger’s profile process to ensure it is streamlined, provides for the most enjoyable profile completion process, and maximizes Employer sign-ups
- Help refine the profile process to make sure WorkMonger is gathering only the necessary information effectively and efficiently
- Work with the WorkMonger team to refine and enhance the WorkMonger matching algorithm
- Help product manage the development of the technology platform to ensure it meets the needs and expectations of WorkMonger employer clients
Organizational Strategy:
- Serve as a thought partner in all parts of WorkMonger’s strategy.

- As a start-up, WorkMonger does not yet offer benefits. We will support you in the process of securing your own.
