Our Mission

Our mission is to transform the education sector by revolutionizing the way education
organizations and professionals connect for meaningful non-teaching jobs.

What We Believe In

Every individual is uniquely gifted

Every individual, without exception, is uniquely gifted and able to contribute value to society.

Work can, and should, be purposeful, fulfilling, and rewarding

Too many people settle for a mediocre job. We believe that people should believe in the purpose behind their work, find it meaningful and enjoyable, and be fairly compensated.

Great organizations have the right people on the right team, in the right roles

Jim Collins was right when he stated in his modern-day business classic “Good To Great” that what separates great organizations from good organizations is the ability to get the right people on their teams and in the right roles. The number one determinant of an organization’s ability to execute on its goals and achieve its mission is the quality of the people on their team.

Without the right people in the right roles, an organization cannot effectively accomplish its mission

No matter how important your organization’s mission, no matter how good your vision for a solution, without the right team, your organization will struggle and fall short of its potential impact. Research shows that strong teams are diverse, equitable and inclusive; this is especially important in the education sector given the diversity of the students, families, and communities that we serve.

The talent market is inefficient; technology and data can make it better

We believe that the hiring process takes too long, costs too much money, and often results in poor hiring decisions. By centralizing jobseekers on a common platform and gathering detailed information, we streamline the hiring process and make connections that would never have developed organically through the power of our algorithms combined with our deep sector expertise.

I love that I get to match mission-driven organizations with passionate people and watch the magic happen! When not talent matching, you can find me drinking coffee with my dog, Jackson, and avoiding the outdoors. I’d love to connect with you about your career trajectory and why you’re passionate about education. Looking forward to working with you!

The WorkMonger Story

Finding the right job and the right talent can be hard. I know this from my own job searches and from working with hundreds of employers and jobseekers across the country.

While technology has made it easier for JobSeekers and Employers to connect, this brings additional challenges of too much information, too many options, too many resumes. I launched WorkMonger to leverage the power of technology and data to break down the barriers that separate great organizations and great people, making it faster, cheaper, and easier for them to find each other. I chose to start with a focus on the education sector because I have a strong passion for ensuring every student has access to an excellent public education.

So, won’t you join us in putting an end to the job search, and replacing it with the far simpler, more effective job match? Let’s unlock the workplace together.
