Throughout his career, John has seen first-hand how placing the right talent in the right roles at impact-driven organizations is transformational—for the organization, its mission, and the people involved.

Sarah Mueller

Managing Director of Talent Services

Sarah has worked in education, as a teacher, instructional coach, and program leader. Now Sarah manages the Talent Services team that works diligently to selectively recruit high-quality and diverse candidates.

Taylor Gonzalez

Managing Director of Partnerships

Taylor is an education leader and has served as a teacher, recruitment specialist, and fundraising professional. Taylor is passionate about building authentic relationships and finding solutions to complex issues. Additionally, Taylor believes deeply in cultivating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive educational ecosystem to best serve our students and communities.

Roger Conner

Managing Director of Marketing

Roger is a senior level marketing and communications leader with 12+ years of experience in both digital and traditional media. He is results-driven and passionate about the ability of education to transform society.

Ana Wolfowicz

Managing Director of Career Strategy & Coaching

Ana leverages her past experience as an educator to coach mission-driven professionals at all stages of their careers. From entry-level to executive positions, Ana supports JobSeekers with LinkedIn, resume writing, cover letters, and interview skills. Ana successfully designs training to onboard new employees and build relationships with WorkMonger’s diverse stakeholders.

Alina Valera Mitchell

Director of Talent Services

Alina leverages her background in social work and talent acquisition to best serve both our Employers and JobSeekers. Alina is passionate about working with education-focused talent and mission-driven organizations. She designs efficient and effective hiring processes that ensure every new hire is properly placed and exceeds the expectations of our clients.

Nichole Curtis Cox

Director of Talent Services

Nichole Cox is a veteran Talent Leader with 15+ years of recruitment and talent management experience primarily in public education and non-profit organizations. She also spent time in tech recruiting and was recently managing client partnerships with Amazon. It didn't take long for her to find her way back to her true calling in the education/non-profit space as she deeply believes in equitable opportunities for all children. When she isn't nerding out on all things talent and recruitment she is spending time with her wild and wonderful 3 kids and traveling everywhere from Disney World to the South Pacific.

Cortney Battel

Senior Manager of Talent Services

Cortney Battel is a seasoned Talent Manager with an extensive background in recruitment and staffing. Having worked primarily in public education and for non-profit organizations, Cortney is on a mission to provide clients with custom talent solutions to alleviate their hiring challenges. She also values the 'candidate experience' and supports jobseekers with their professional goals. Cortney graduated from Ithaca College and never misses the long winters. She is a mom to two cool kids and a newish rescue pup, Oreo. For fun, Cortney enjoys spending time at the beach, taking care of her plants, and baking.

Jamie McKnight

Manager of Talent Services

Jamie is an Ohio native and alumna of University of Cincinnati. She served with Americorps after undergrad with City Year Inc working in under-resourced and high need neighborhoods in North and Northeast Philly. Her career's foundation is in education nonprofits with experience in recruiting, admission selection, partnerships, human resources, talent acquisition and operations.

Vinh Hua

Manager of Talent Service

Vinh utilizes his background and knowledge in education to connect JobSeekers with the opportunities that fit them best. As a former teacher, outdoor educator, and traveler, his passion lies in ensuring every student has access to the highest quality education.

Deandra Ybarra

Senior Associate of Talent Services

Deandra has over 10 years of experience working in education and with special needs children. She has found a passion in recruiting for positions helping children grow and succeed. She is very goal oriented and is excited to make a difference in educational professionals and students' lives!
